From April 7th, timetable changes at STOAG

Since the bridge on Einbleckstrasse, which is in need of renovation, is closed to vehicles over 3,5 tons, STOAG buses are no longer allowed to use the bridge. There are also changes to the “light timetable”.

Due to the bridge closure on Einbleckstraße, STOAG is changing the routes and timetables of lines SB7, 94 and NE957 in the districts of Oberhausen-Borbeck and Oberhausen-Vondern from April 3th.

In the future, the SB94 line will run from Osterfeld Süd train station in both directions via the stops Arminstrasse, Glückaufstrasse, Schloßstrasse and Burg Vondern to the new terminus at Breilstrasse. The Marina/SeaLife stop is no longer available. Buses 957 and 961 then run between the Arminstraße and Aquapark stops.

For line 957 and line NE3, the route changes in both directions from Einbleckstraße. The buses go via the Haus Ripshorst, Aquapark, Arminstraße stops to the Osterfeld Süd Bahnhof stop. The Emscherbrücke stop is no longer available. In the future, the SB94 line will run between the Breilstrasse and Arminstrasse stops.

In addition to these changes, from April 7th there will be minor changes on the lines SB97, 952, 961, 976 and in the emergency vehicles in school transport throughout the city.

Changes also to the “timetable light”

After STOAG abolished the “light timetable” on all Sundays on March 10th, the next step towards a regular timetable now follows.

The buses on lines 953, 961 and 966 will run according to the usual timetable again from April 7th. Lines 953 and 961 are no longer served by minibuses.

Line 952 remains every 30 minutes from Monday to Friday, and on weekends the buses run according to the regular schedule again.

On the SB97 route, buses run according to the regular schedule on Saturdays. There are no trips on this line from Monday to Friday or Sunday. Since the line runs largely parallel to line SB94, passengers can switch to this line, which has additional trips during rush hour.

Enter address instead of stop

The new timetable data can be accessed via the electronic timetable information and the STOAG app. For individual journey connections, STOAG recommends not entering the stop but the address at the start and destination. This will show alternative connections including the route to the stop.

A special timetable for the timetable changes due to the bridge closure on Einbleckstrasse will be available from April 8th in all our customer centers and on the Internet at www.stoag.de.
