Control of the 3G rule in buses and trams

Employees of STOAG, the police and the municipal security service carried out a priority check on Tuesday, December 14th, to ensure compliance with the 3G rule. Over a period of three hours, 1423 passengers in 42 buses and trams were checked in the area of the fire station. 30 violations of the 3G obligation to provide evidence were found, which corresponds to a rate of 2,1%. In these cases, a fine of 250 euros was imposed. In addition to proof of the 3G rule, compliance with the mask requirement and the validity of the tickets were checked. 28 passengers could not present a valid ticket and received a higher fare.

STOAG checks compliance with the 3G rule on a random basis by mobile teams that are on the move on all lines during the day and on the NachtExpress lines. On Tuesday, in addition to the focus control, a further 50 vehicles were checked in the city area. 4% of the passengers were unable to provide 3G proof.
