Practical training in the bus for wheelchair users

With the wheelchair or walker on the bus: Many people with reduced mobility find it difficult to do so. Although local public transport in Oberhausen is largely barrier-free and all STOAG buses and trams are low-floor, a factor of uncertainty remains with those affected. But practice makes perfect.
Getting in and out of the wheelchair or walker correctly has to be learned. The parking of rollators and wheelchairs in the bus is a key safety aspect for passengers with restricted mobility. STOAG offers free training for wheelchair users and people with rollators.
The meeting point is Thursday, August 11, between 14 p.m. and 00 p.m. at the Heinrich-Böll-Gesamtschule stop in Schmachtendorf. Registration is not required.
