New Year's Eve: STOAG buses and trains run all night

On New Year's Eve, the STOAG buses and trams pick up a pace. To ensure that all customers get home safely and safely, STOAG has more vehicles in use than usual on New Year's Eve.

The STOAG buses and trains run according to the Saturday schedule until around 23:30 p.m. Then there is an approximately one-hour break in operation.

All NachtExpress lines start at around 00:30 after the New Year's fireworks and run until around 9 a.m. Lines NE1 to NE7 double their frequency and run until around 4:40 a.m. every 30 minutes according to the Sunday schedule. The cross-city lines NE11 and NE12 (tram) also increase their frequency in the first few hours of the new year. These lines run according to special timetables.  

For the New Year, the Sunday schedule applies all day at STOAG. On the inter-city lines SB 91, 263 and 979, the Sunday schedule also applies, but the first trip on the day takes place later.

The current travel times are available via the electronic timetable information and the STOAG app, which is available free of charge for iOS and Android devices. All additional trips are included. The special timetable for New Year's Eve and New Year's Eve is also available free of charge to take away in all STOAG customer centers and on the Internet at www.stoag.de.

Timetable information is available around the clock on the hotline 0180 6 50 40 30 (€ 0,20 per call from a German landline, € 0,60 per call from a mobile phone), including New Year's Eve and New Year's Eve, of course.

And if you want to quickly take out a subscription for January, you can do so on New Year's Eve between 8 a.m. and 13 p.m. in the STOAG customer center at the main train station or at the Sterkrade train station.
