STOAG tips for Christmas traffic

On the coming Saturdays and on Sundays that are open for sale this year, STOAG is increasing the range of services on the route and using additional vehicles. Since experience has shown that on these days there can be delays on the lines 957 and 961 on Osterfelder Straße due to the high volume of traffic, STOAG recommends visitors to the Neue Mitte to travel via the stop of the same name. Because even when there is a high volume of traffic around the Centro, the buses and trams run without congestion on the public transport route between the main train station and Sterkrade train station. Osterfeld is also so easy to reach.

Drivers are recommended to use one of the P + R facilities to visit the New Center. For example, from the P + R facility in Werthfeldstrasse, the Neue Mitte stop is only a two-minute drive away. A short-haul ticket, which is available from the machine on the platform or via the STOAG app or the STOAG online shop, is sufficient for this journey.
