STOAG Christmas schedule

On public holidays, the STOAG buses run according to a special timetable.
On Christmas Eve, the Saturday timetable applies first for all lines, between 18 p.m. and 19 p.m. the NightExpress timetable comes into effect. The buses will then run hourly according to the NightExpress timetable until the day lines start around 25 a.m. on December 9 according to the Sunday timetable. The tram also changes to an hourly service between 18 p.m. and 19 p.m. on Christmas Eve and then runs as the NE12 between the Olga-Park and Mülheim Kaiserplatz stops.

On December 25, STOAG will use the Sunday timetable all day. For the cross-city connections, a special timetable applies on lines X42, SB91 263 and 979 until around 10 a.m., after which the buses run according to the regular Sunday timetable. On December 26, all lines will run according to the Sunday timetable.

In the STOAG app, there are exact travel information for all lines in real time, including for the cross-city lines. The special timetable for the public holidays and at the turn of the year is also available free of charge in all STOAG customer centers and on the Internet at www.stoag.de.

The STOAG customer centers at the main train station and Sterkrade train station are open between 9 a.m. and 14 p.m. on Christmas Eve.
