Werner Overkamp re-elected

STOAG Managing Director Werner Overkamp has been re-elected Chairman of the Board of Directors for Bus Passenger Transport at the Association of German Transport Companies (VDV). At the same time, he remains one of five vice-presidents of the industry association for public transport, in which more than 630 companies involved in public transport (ÖPV) and rail freight transport (SGV) are organized. The experienced public transport specialist sees the major task not only in the change in drive system and the expansion of classic scheduled services and the supplementary on-demand offers, but also in the further digitization of public transport in connection with the recruitment of qualified specialists. Werner Overkamp has been in charge of Stadtwerke Oberhausen since 2003 – until mid-2013 as a member of the Management Board of Stadtwerke Oberhausen AG and following the change in legal form as Managing Director of STOAG Stadtwerke Oberhausen GmbH.
