Warning strike on February 29th and March 1st shuts down STOAG local transport

The ver.di union is on strike on Thursday, February 29, 2024, and STOAG on Friday, March 1, 2024. The STOAG buses and trams do not run from the start of operations on Thursday (approx. 3 a.m.) until the end of operations on Saturday night (approx. 3.30:XNUMX a.m.). The surrounding transport companies are also affected by the strike.
All STOAG, DVG (lines 905, 906, 907, 908, 939), Vestischen (lines SB91, 979, 263, The emergency vehicles in school transport will also be eliminated.

STOAG is setting up a rail replacement service with buses on line 112 from the “Landwehr” stop on the city limits of Mülheim to Sterkrade train station. The rail replacement service runs according to the timetable of line 112.

Line 957 runs as scheduled, line 143 runs according to the Saturday timetable with additional trips in the early morning.

The Ruhrbahn and the BVR offer replacement services on the cross-city lines 935, 995, NE10, NE11 and NE12. The NE10, NE11 and NE12 buses run every hour from 05:30 a.m. to 23:30 p.m.

The Revierflitzer are in action on Thursday and Friday from 21 p.m.

STOAG spokeswoman Sabine Müller: “From Tuesday, all journeys will be stored in the electronic timetable information and in the STOAG app. We recommend that all passengers check the desired connection in the electronic timetable information or in the STOAG app before starting their journey.”

 

STOAG customer center open

The STOAG customer centers in Sterkrade and the main station are open until 13 p.m. on both days of the strike. The Neue Mitte customer center is closed. Due to the warning strike, the mobility guarantee, the connection guarantee and the punctuality promise will no longer apply on the two days of the strike.
