Current information on the corona virus

Dear passengers, the federal and state governments regularly adapt their measures and recommendations to the current situation. For us as a transport company, the safety and health of passengers and our employees are our top priority.

From February 1, 2023, the obligation to wear a medical mask on public transport in NRW will no longer apply. This means that from February 2nd, uniform rules will apply nationwide for local and long-distance traffic. Of course you can voluntarily wear a mask on the bus and tram. Buses and trams are not places that are more dangerous to health than other places, as long as the rules of hygiene are observed. All STOAG buses have air conditioning. The entire amount of air in the bus is exchanged about every three minutes, and the constant opening of the doors at the bus stops supports the regular exchange of air in the vehicle.

Customer Center

Our customer centers at Oberhausen main station and at Sterkrader station are open as usual at the following times:

Monday - Friday 08 a.m. - 00 p.m.
Saturday 09:00 - 14:00

The Neue Mitte customer center is open Monday to Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 16:00 p.m.

Wearing a Mask in our customer centers is voluntary - however, our employees would be happy if you wear a mask as a gesture of mutual consideration.

Front entry in the bus / ticket purchase

All STOAG buses are equipped with a partition at the driver's workplace. You can purchase your tickets on the bus. However, we are happy if you make cashless payments on our buses with all major credit cards, Girocard, Google Pay and Apple Pay. Of course, you can use your tickets too online Kaufen.

Revierflitzer®

From February 1, 2023, there will also be no obligation to wear a mask when driving with the Revierflitzer®. Depending on the occupancy of the vehicles, there are up to six people in the passenger compartment. We therefore welcome it if you voluntarily wear a mask out of consideration for your fellow passengers. In the vehicles, the so-called London taxis, the passenger compartment and driver's cabin are separated by a Plexiglas pane.
