departure and exchange regulations 2025/2026 

The following tickets from the VRR fare system will continue to be sold until December 31, 2025 (midnight) and can be used beyond that date:

• Single ticket
• 4-ticket
• 24-stundenticket
• bike ticket
• Additional ticket

Tickets purchased in advance can be used until the end of service on March 31, 2026. Unused or partially used tickets purchased between January 1 and December 31, 2025, can be exchanged until December 31, 2028. Only the price difference to the new ticket will be charged. The difference will be rounded to the nearest 5 cents. No additional processing fee will be charged.

Monthly tickets and associated surcharges at the old price for December 2025 are valid until the end of service on January 2, 2026. Monthly tickets for January 2026 are only available at the new 2026 price.
