For trips that go beyond the VRR, regulations that differ from the VRR tariff apply. Here, the VRR has set up transitional regulations with neighboring partners.

• Transport Association Ruhr-Lippe (VRL)
• Transport Community Münsterland (VGM)

For trips that remain within a tariff area, only the tariff of the corresponding association or the transport association applies.

In both adjoining tariff zones, tickets are sold through the existing distribution channels. Single, 4-person, day or group tickets purchased in advance for any required price level for the neighboring network can be validated in your own network when you start your journey.

Aachen Transport Association (AVV)

The AVV tariff applies to cross-border journeys in the defined collar area. AboTickets are issued on paper tickets from the AVV.
 

Transport Community Münsterland (VGM)

The VRR tariff applies in the defined collar area. Furthermore, the VGM tariff applies between owners and the tariff area of ​​the VGM. VRR subscriptions are issued on VRR chip cards; VGM subscriptions are issued on VGM paper tickets.
 

Transport Association Ruhr-Lippe (VRL)

The VRR tariff applies to journeys between the entire VRR and the VRL tariff areas Lünen, Bergkamen, Kamen, Unna, Holzwickede and Schwerte. In addition, the VRL tariff applies to cross-border journeys in the defined area of ​​validity. VRR subscriptions are issued on VRR chip cards; VRL subscriptions are issued on VRL paper tickets.
