1st class additions

Enjoy the comfort of 1st class

The STOAG subscription and monthly tickets (including the DeutschlandTicket) are normally valid for 2nd class on buses and trains.

However, you can also buy an additional 1st class ticket for the VRR. The additional ticket allows you to use 1st class on local trains in the VRR. It is valid in conjunction with the monthly or subscription ticket. This means that you can use 1st class throughout the VRR.

Bike Extensions

Flexible on the go

The monthly bicycle ticket for the VRR area of validity costs €33,45. For use throughout NRW, there is the NRWupgrade bicycle for €44,80. Alternatively, you can continue to purchase individual bicycle tickets for your journeys for €4,40, which are valid for 24 hours.
