4-person tickets now available on the bus

From 1 September there will be multi-trip tickets - also known as 4-person tickets - on the bus. Originally, the discounted 4-ticket in the VRR was only available in advance sales, i.e. in customer centers, private advance booking offices and at ticket machines. In the future there will be 4-ticket tickets for short journeys and for price levels A to E also for drivers. The multi-trip tickets are intended for immediate use, because the first field is automatically canceled when you buy it on the bus. If you want to buy multiple-trip tickets in advance, you can still do so in the customer center or advance booking offices, where the tickets are not yet marked with the travel start date. 

"With the sale of the 4-person ticket on the bus, we are meeting many customer requests," says STOAG spokeswoman Sabine Müller. “We want to make it easier for our occasional customers to get started with local public transport by purchasing a multi-trip ticket when they start their journey, and to reduce their inhibitions. Depending on the type of ticket, the 4-person ticket is around ten percent cheaper than the single ticket. "
