Buses are replacing trams

From July 29th, 22pm up to and including August 7th, tram 112 will not operate and will be replaced by buses all day. The tram replacement service runs at the same rate as the trams, the travel times are slightly different.
The replacement buses run between Mülheim-Kaiserplatz and Oberhausen Hauptbahnhof. The lines SB90, SB98 and 960 can be used on the route to continue towards Sterkrade.
The replacement buses continue to Sterkrade train station Monday to Friday mornings until 6 a.m., Saturday mornings until 8 a.m. and on weekdays between 21 p.m. and 23.30 p.m. and Sundays all day.
The NE12 runs as a bus between Mülheim-Kaiserplatz and Olga-Park.
The tram replacement service in the direction of Mülheim leaves at Sterkrade station and at the main station from bus platform 4, from the main station towards Sterkrade from bus platform 1.

Another note on the summer vacation schedule: The SB97 line does not run during the summer vacation. In Königshardt and Sterkrade, the lines 960, 959 and SB94 can alternatively be used, and the SB94 line between Sterkrade and the main train station.
