Buses instead of trams

Track construction work on line 112 as well as demolition work on the Konrad-Adenauer bridge in Mülheim lead to impairment of tram traffic between April 15 and May 1. In the Oberhausen city area, tram traffic will be discontinued during this period, and work will continue on the Neue Mitte Oberhausen and Lipperfeld section.
From April 15, 22 p.m., tram 112 only runs from MH-Kaiserplatz to MH-Sültenfuß. Between the MH-Sültenfuß and the OB-Hauptbahnhof there is a replacement bus service. From the main train station, the bus lines SB90 and SB96 can be used to Sterkrade Bahnhof. In addition, the replacement buses run Monday to Friday from the start of operations until 6 a.m. and on Saturdays from the start of operations until 8 a.m. and on weekdays between 21 p.m. and 23.30 p.m. from MH-Sültenfuß to Sterkrade train station. On Sundays these buses also go to Sterkrade train station. The NE12 also operates as a bus between Sültenfuß and Olga-Park. From April 26th to May 1st inclusive, tram traffic between MH-Kaiserplatz and Sterkrade will be completely stopped and replaced by buses.
The rail replacement service in the direction of Mülheim leaves from platform 4 at Sterkrade and the main train station, and from platform 1 from the central station in the direction of Sterkrade. The travel times can be found in the electronic timetable information at www.stoag.de and in the current timetable notices. You can also call the hotline on 01803 504030 (€ 0,09 / min. From a landline, mobile max. € 0,42 / min.) To inquire about travel times.
