City O. Ticket of STOAG also available in 2015

On July 1, 2014, STOAG opened the City O. Ticket introduced. The new ticket, a pilot project by STOAG and Verkehrsverbund Rhein-Ruhr, is only available in this form in Oberhausen. It is initially limited to the end of 2014. A customer survey accompanying the project is intended to analyze usage. Christa Drießen, Head of Marketing and Sales: “The ticket was very well received by our customers. The sales figures have risen from 1731 tickets sold in July to 4645 tickets in November. " 

The Verkehrsverbund Rhein-Ruhr - responsible for ticket prices in the region - has now given the green light to continue the pilot project until December 31.12.2015, XNUMX.  

Christa Drießen: “STOAG would like to thank all participants who took part in the customer survey accompanying the project. The results of the survey have the success of the City O.Tickets confirmed and contributed to the extension of the project. " 

The customer survey is also linked to a competition. All winners will be notified by STOAG in the new year.

The City O. Ticket at a glance

- Valid for 4 hours from the validation for any number of journeys on all buses and trams in Oberhausen

- Valid for 1 person: Monday to Friday from 9 a.m., Saturday, Sunday and public holidays all day (4 hours each)

- Taking another person with you: Mondays to Fridays from 19 p.m., Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays all day within the 4 hours 

- The City O. Ticket is not valid on local trains such as S-Bahn, Regionalbahn and RegionalExpress.

- To take a bicycle with you, you need to purchase an additional ticket.

- The City O. Ticket cannot be purchased at ticket machines or via the HandyTicket.
