Free travel on Children's Day

The motto of World Children's Day on Wednesday, September 20, 2017, this year is “Give children a voice”. On World Children's Day, all children under the age of 15 can travel freely in the entire VRR area. 

Oberhausen will be celebrating World Children's Day on Saturday, September 16, on the grounds of the Stadtsportbund at the Niederrhein Stadium. The arrival and departure to and from this event is free of charge for children under 15 years of age in Oberhausen. Since RWO has a home game on that day, parking spaces around the stadium are rare, so it is recommended to use public transport to and from the hotel. In addition to the regular regular service, the special busses labeled “Stadium Use” can be used, which run from around 12 noon to around 13.45:XNUMX pm from the main train station and the Sterkrade and Osterfeld stations directly to the stadium.
