A new chapter in electromobility will begin in Oberhausen on October 4th: two purely electrically powered buses will run on routes 962 and 966. The buses with their emission-free electric drive are particularly climate-friendly and also offer passengers a special driving experience: they are very quiet and low in vibration and drive off very gently.
In order to get to know the electric buses, STOAG is making a special offer for its passengers: On Sunday, October 4th, 2015, passengers on lines 962 and 966 can ride the electric buses in Oberhausen free of charge.
Line 962 runs from Kleekamp via Theodor-Spiering-Platz, Hagelkreuz to Sterkrade station and back. Line 966 connects Sterkrade station with Oberhausen Castle, the town hall and Oberhausen main station. Free travel is only valid on these two lines.
